Rentop is a marketplace: the cars belong to licensed rental partners in Dubai, and you book them at the price they set. There is no Rentop desk inside the mall. The partner brings the car to the address or entrance you choose, you check it together with your documents, and you pay at that moment.

Today 452 cars can be delivered to Mall of the Emirates, from AED 85 per day.

404 of them are delivered free of charge anywhere in Dubai, the mall area included.

When a partner charges for delivery, the fee ranges from AED 50 to AED 200 and is shown on the car page before you book.

The mall is huge and has many entrances, so agree on one precise spot with the partner, ideally a hotel lobby or a named entrance. Typical meeting points:

• The Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates, right next to Ski Dubai, at the hotel entrance.
• The Sheraton Mall of the Emirates, at the hotel entrance.
• A mall entrance or the car park, at a meeting point agreed with the partner.
• Apartments and hotels in the surrounding streets of Al Barsha.

Who rents a car around Mall of the Emirates

Many visitors choose a hotel next to the mall for its shops, its cinema and Ski Dubai, with the metro station on the doorstep. After a few days, most of them want to see more: the beaches of Jumeirah, Downtown, the old town by the Creek or a desert drive. Renting a car delivered to the hotel is the simplest way to do it.

How much does it cost to rent a car at Mall of the Emirates?

The price does not depend on the district: a car costs the same at the mall as anywhere else in Dubai. What changes it is the category, the length of the rental and the deposit. The table above gives the starting price of each category today.

Renting by the week starts from AED 500, and by the month from AED 1,475.

Driving and parking around Mall of the Emirates

The mall stands right on Sheikh Zayed Road, at the edge of Al Barsha, so you are on the main road the moment you leave. Heading to Downtown or the airport, you pass Salik toll gates: tolls are counted during the rental and paid at the end of it.

The mall has a large car park with valet service at some entrances, and the hotels attached to the mall offer parking for their guests. Ask your hotel how to park the rental car before it arrives.

Each rental includes around 250 km per day, more than enough for a trip to Downtown Dubai and back.

From Mall of the Emirates to the rest of Dubai

The beaches of Umm Suqeim are just across Sheikh Zayed Road, and Jumeirah, Al Quoz, Dubai Internet City and Palm Jumeirah are a short drive away. Flying in? Have the car delivered at Dubai Airport and drive it to your hotel at the mall.

UAE residents: a UAE driving licence and an Emirates ID. Tourists: a passport, a visit visa and your home driving licence. Licences from the UK, the United States, Canada, most European countries and many others are accepted as they are; for other countries, add an International Driving Permit.
