Driving and parking in Dubai Marina

The Marina sits on Sheikh Zayed Road, between JLT and the Palm. Heading to Downtown Dubai or the airport, you drive through Salik toll gates: tolls are counted during the rental and paid at the end of it.

Street parking in the Marina is paid and runs through public parking zones, payable by app or SMS. Most towers have visitor spaces at the entrance, and Dubai Marina Mall has its own car park, so ask your building about guest parking before the car arrives.

Each rental includes around 250 km per day, more than enough for a trip to Downtown and back.

Dubai Marina to the airport

Dubai International Airport is on the other side of the city, reached by Sheikh Zayed Road, so leave extra time at rush hour. You can also have the car delivered at Dubai Airport on arrival and drive it straight to the Marina.

UAE residents: a UAE driving licence and an Emirates ID. Tourists: a passport, a visit visa and your home driving licence. Licences from the UK, the United States, Canada, most European countries and many others are accepted as they are; for other countries, add an International Driving Permit.
