Rentop is a marketplace: the cars belong to licensed rental partners in Dubai, and you book them at the price they set. There is no Rentop counter inside the mall. The partner drives the car to the entrance or car park you agree on, you check it together with your documents, and you pay at that moment.

Today 452 cars can be delivered to Dubai Mall, from AED 85 per day.

404 of them are delivered free of charge anywhere in Dubai, the mall included.

When a partner charges for delivery, the fee ranges from AED 50 to AED 200 and is shown on the car page before you book.

Meeting points at Dubai Mall

Dubai Mall is huge, so pick one entrance, share your live location, and tell the partner which side you are on:

• The Fashion Avenue entrance, the natural choice after a shopping session in the luxury wing.
• The mall car parks, such as Grand Parking, Fashion Parking or Cinema Parking, at the entrance of the zone you name.
• The Zabeel side of the mall, reached through the Zabeel extension and its car park.
• Address Dubai Mall, the hotel connected to the mall, at the hotel entrance.

If you arrive by Metro at Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall station, walk through the link bridge into the mall and meet the partner at a car park entrance rather than on the road.

A shopping day with a car

Most people who rent at the mall do it for one of three reasons. Tourists spend a day between the Dubai Aquarium, the ice rink, the cinemas and the shops, then want to explore the rest of the city. Families leave with bags, strollers and sometimes a new suitcase, and need a boot to match. Residents order a car for a weekend and find the mall an easy place to meet. Whichever you are, choose a car by the space you need, not only by the look.

How much does it cost to rent a car at Dubai Mall?

The price does not depend on where you collect the car: it is the same at the mall as anywhere else in Dubai. It moves with the category, the length of the rental and the deposit. The table above shows the starting price of each category today.

Renting by the week starts from AED 500, and by the month from AED 1,475.

Luxury car rental at Dubai Mall

Parking at Dubai Mall with a rental car

The car parks are large and organised by zones and levels, so note where you leave the car before you go in. Read the parking conditions posted at the entrance, as they apply to rental cars like any other.

Leaving the mall, you join Financial Centre Road and then Sheikh Zayed Road. Salik toll gates on the main roads are counted during the rental and paid at the end of it.

Each rental includes around 250 km per day, enough for the mall, the beach and a dinner across town.

From Dubai Mall to the rest of the city

The mall sits inside Downtown Dubai, with Business Bay and DIFC right next to it and City Walk a short drive away. Sheikh Zayed Road takes you to Dubai Marina in the south, and you can also have the car delivered at Dubai Airport on arrival.

Documents you need

UAE residents: a UAE driving licence and an Emirates ID. Tourists: a passport, a visit visa and your home driving licence. Licences from the UK, the United States, Canada, most European countries and many others are accepted as they are; for other countries, add an International Driving Permit. The minimum age depends on the partner and is shown on each car page.
