Deposit, mileage and Salik

Each MG states on its page whether a deposit is required before you book. If you prefer to rent with nothing blocked on your card, browse our cars with no deposit.

When a deposit is required, it ranges from AED 1,000 to AED 2,500 depending on the car.

Each rental includes a daily mileage allowance, and extra kilometres are charged at the rate shown on the car. Salik road tolls are counted during the rental and paid at the end. Insurance details are on each car page.

The allowance is around 250 km per day, and extra kilometres cost from AED 0.50 to AED 1 per km.

Delivery and documents

The MG is delivered to your home, your hotel, your office or Dubai International Airport. You check the car with the partner and pay at delivery.

UAE residents need a UAE driving licence and an Emirates ID. Tourists need a passport, a visit visa and their home licence. Licences from the UK, the United States, Canada, Australia, the Gulf countries and most of Europe are accepted as they are; for other countries, add an International Driving Permit. The minimum age depends on the partner and is shown on each car.
