SUV rental in Dubai, with real cars and real prices
Rentop is a marketplace: the SUVs on this page belong to licensed rental partners in Dubai, and you book them directly at the price they set. Listings show photos of the partners' own cars, from compact city SUVs to full-size 4x4s.
Today that means 193 SUVs available to rent, from AED 100 to AED 8,500 per day.
How much does it cost to rent an SUV in Dubai?
The price depends mostly on the size and the brand of the SUV. As a rule of thumb:
- Compact SUVs such as the Hyundai Creta, the Kia Seltos or the MG ZS sit at the entry of the range.
- Full-size SUVs such as the GMC Yukon, the Chevrolet Tahoe or the Cadillac Escalade are in the middle.
- The Lamborghini Urus, the Rolls-Royce Cullinan and the Ferrari Purosangue are at the top.
Daily prices go from AED 100 to AED 8,500, and the table above gives the starting price of each brand.
Most SUVs can be rented from one day, and renting for longer lowers the daily price: see our weekly car rental and monthly car rental offers, or read our guide on how much it costs to rent a car in Dubai.
SUV rental in Dubai with no deposit
Many SUVs can be rented with no deposit: nothing is blocked on your card, and each car shows whether it needs a deposit before you book. You can also browse every no deposit car rental on Rentop.
162 of the 193 SUVs are available with no deposit, from AED 110 per day.
When a deposit is required, it ranges from AED 200 to AED 6,000 depending on the car, and it is returned at the end of the rental.
Cheap SUV rental in Dubai
For a smaller budget, look at compact and mid-size SUVs such as the Chevrolet Captiva, the Mazda CX-5, the Haval Jolion or the Kia Sportage. They are easy to park in Dubai Marina or Downtown and still give you a higher driving position than a sedan. If you only need a small car for the city, our economy cars are another option.
7 seater SUV rental for families and groups
Travelling with children, grandparents or a lot of luggage? A large SUV gives you a third row of seats and room for suitcases. The usual choices are:
- Full-size: the Nissan Patrol, the GMC Yukon, the Chevrolet Tahoe, the Infiniti QX80 and the Cadillac Escalade.
- Mid-size: the Kia Sorento, the Mitsubishi Outlander, the Toyota Highlander and the Volkswagen Atlas.
The number of seats can change with the version, so check the details of the car before you book. For a bigger group, a van is more practical.
4x4 rental in Dubai: Nissan Patrol, G63 and Defender
The Nissan Patrol is the large 4x4 many visitors ask for: roomy, comfortable on long roads and at ease on the drive to Hatta or to a desert camp, and every version is on our Nissan page. The Mercedes G63, the Land Rover Defender and the Lexus LX, the luxury cousin of the Toyota Land Cruiser, complete the range.
Driving on sand dunes is a different matter: before you leave paved roads, ask the partner who owns the car whether it is allowed.
Luxury SUV rental in Dubai
For an event, a business trip or simply the pleasure of driving, the luxury SUVs are here too: the Range Rover and the Range Rover Sport, the Bentley Bentayga, the Porsche Cayenne, the Aston Martin DBX and the Rolls-Royce Cullinan. See also all our luxury cars.
Mileage, Salik, delivery and documents
Extra kilometres are charged at the rate shown on each car, insurance details are on each car page, and Dubai road tolls (Salik) are counted during the rental and paid at the end of it. The SUV is delivered to your hotel, your home, your office or Dubai Airport, and you pay on delivery.
Each rental includes around 250 km per day, and extra kilometres cost up to AED 45 per km depending on the car.
UAE residents: a UAE driving licence and an Emirates ID. Tourists: a passport, a visit visa and your home driving licence. Licences from the UK, the United States, Canada, most European countries and many others are accepted as they are; for other countries, add an International Driving Permit. The minimum age depends on the partner and is shown on the car page before you book.
